Jeans for Genes Day

Dear Parents and Carers,

On Friday 23rd September Birch Wood School will be taking part in supporting ‘Jeans for Genes’ in order to raise awareness and funds for individuals and families affected by genetic condition across the UK.

This year’s theme is ‘How do you wear yours?’

All students and staff are invited to come to school in jeans, anything denim or anything blue on Friday 23rd September and donate a £1. Everybody is encouraged to let their creativity go wild by teaming your jeans with a diamante tiara, bunny ears or your best 70s or 80s disco threads or lean into your cool side with a classic white T-shirt, double denim look or your favourite sports top. Whatever you decide is your perfect partner for your jeans, wear it your way!

We are looking forward to seeing you all being creative with your jeans, denim type clothing!

Wear jeans, change lives and have fun too!

Yours sincerely
