CLAPA awareness, Thursday 12th May 2022
For the very first time Birch Wood School is proud to be taking part in raising awareness for CLAPA (Cleft Lip and Palate Association), it’s a small charity that supports around 700 children born with cleft and/or palate condition every year in England. This year CLAPA awareness week takes place on 7th-15th May 2022.
In Birch Wood school, we will be raising awareness of CLAPA and all children born with cleft lip and palate condition on Thursday, 12th May. Students will have an opportunity to wear something blue (other than uniform) and take part in a range of activities.
A voluntary contribution of £1 to go towards the charity.
