🌍💙 World Diabetes Day 💙🌍

Today, we join the world in raising awareness about Type 1 Diabetes and its warning signs.

These warning signs are known as the 4Ts:

🚻 Toilet – Going to the toilet more often
🥤 Thirsty – Feeling constantly thirsty
😴 Tired – More tired than usual
⚖️ Thinner – Losing weight for no clear reason

If you notice any of these signs in yourself or your child, it would be advised to seek advice from a medical professional.

📢Reminder: Non-Uniform Day Tomorrow! 📢

Tomorrow, Friday 14th November, is our Children in Need Non-Uniform Day at Birch Wood! 🎉

Pupils and staff are invited to come to school in their favourite clothes and bring a £1 voluntary contribution to support this wonderful cause.

There will also be plenty of fun Pudsey-themed activities and learning taking place throughout the day 🐻💛

On Tuesday 11th November, students across Birch Wood came together to honour Remembrance Day. Each class took part in creating beautiful poppies to display around the school, showing respect and gratitude for those who served. During the day, our school community also paused for a moment of silence and reflection to remember and give thanks. ❤️🌺
