✨What an unforgettable day at Curve! ✨
Today, our incredible group of 15 students took to the stage and moved the entire audience to tears with their powerful performance of The Climb. Through Dance, Drama and British Sign Language, they shared a message straight from their hearts:
“Look at what we CAN do, not what we can’t.”
One of the most emotional moments came when they broke through a banner reading “You can’t do that” and the audience erupted into cheers. Soon, the whole theatre was signing along with them.💪🏼
Our amazing Bronze and Silver Award students kept the celebration going, getting everyone clapping along with their brilliant disco moves.🪩🕺🏼
Michelle summed it up perfectly:
“I am always proud of our students, but today they were phenomenal and made me cry with pride.”

It’s been an extremely hot week, but there’s still been so much happening across Birch Wood! ☀️💚
At Grange Drive, we’ve seen lovely moments of friendship and sharing, with classes coming together for water play fun to stay cool 💦
A special shout out to Summer from BWV, who kindly delivered ice lollies and iced water to our Grange Drive classes, which was very welcomed by pupils and staff 🧊💙
Some pupils from BWV enjoyed an incredible swimming session at Waterfield, building confidence in the deep end, while 8CM had a fantastic day out at Gulliver’s Kingdom 🎢
Birch Wood College pupils have been working hard to complete their ASDAN qualifications 🌟
