📚🎶 National Storytelling Week at Birch Wood School 🎶📚
This week, we have had a fantastic time taking part in a wide range of story‑themed activities to celebrate National Storytelling Week. 📚
This year’s theme was “Soundtrack Your Story”. Throughout the week, classes have:
🎵 Soundtracked their day
🎵 Created a soundtrack for their own stories, choosing songs linked to significant life events
🎵 Made sound effects to bring favourite stories and rhymes to life
🎵 Created class playlists
🎵 Used favourite stories as inspiration for songs and raps while exploring a variety of texts
We brought the celebrations to a close today with a brilliant “Soundtrack Your Story” non‑uniform day, where pupils expressed their own stories through music, characters and creative outfits.🥳⭐ … See MoreSee Less
