Our wonderful Birch Wood College (BWC) partnership with Melton Vale Post 16 (MV16) was featured on BBC Politics East Midlands this Sunday. The item celebrates inclusion and the fantastic Makaton Choir consisting of MV16 and BWC students. The choir has been invited to sing at the Major’s Carol Service this Thursday at St. Mary’s Church. Special well done to Daniel (and brother Henry) and Faye who were interviewed and spoke so well- great work guys!

Last Sunday we were so happy to welcome the Nottingham Triumph Motorcycle Club and friends back to Birch Wood for the annual Christmas Toy Run. All the gifts donated will get some Christmas magic and be delivered by Santa to our pupils. It was wonderful to see all the bikes and Christmas outfits- the perfect way to start the season. Huge thank you to all the volunteers involved and obviously the Bikers- we love this event!🎁🏍 See MoreSee Less

We are so very proud of our students for caring about the wider community and raising money for those in need, whilst also developing their numeracy and literacy skills. It was an honour for Birch Wood to be on BBC East Mids News with the talented Urban T, who so beautifully read his poem about Pudsey. Please see the clip below which the BBC have kindly agreed to share with us.😍 See MoreSee Less

Christmas is just around the corner and what better way to get into the festive spirit than coming along to our Christmas Bazaar on Thursday 30th November! This always proves to be one of our most popular community events, with students running stalls selling their own Christmas makes as well as food and drink. Please come along and show your support!
